Series Ultra Clear and Integra
If you need ultra pure water in your laboratory for the most
demanding applications, e. g. for HPLC, chemical analyses,
AAS, molecular biology or cell culture, then installing an
SG system is the right decision. Ultra Clear and Integra are
simply a question of handling, as the tried and tested technology
is the same in both devices. SG ultra pure water systems are
equipped with a pretreatment module, which allows the direct
use of ordinary mains water – a convenient and money-saving
feature. The water quality exceeds even the highest international
standards such as ASTM 1. |

Reverse
osmosis systems
Series euRO... and euRO...plus
Contemporary clear design combined with top level technology
- these are the compact reverse-osmosis systems, euRO... and
euRO...plus. Possible applications for the euRO... series
are the supply of automatic washers and the deionization of
raw water. Considerably higher is the water quality produced
by the euRO...plus. This result is based on the installation
of the El-Ion® single bed cell. The electro-deionization
makes it possible to produce pure water from permeate of an
SG reverse-osmosis system. The inorganic purity of the water
is equivalent to the quality of a mixed bed, but without accepting
its disadvantages of a high germination. Besides the good
water quality the extremely effective El-Ion® cell has
the additional advantage, that it really won't need much space
for its installation. Thus, the euRO...plus remains a small
reverse-osmosis system with a high performance. Possible applications:
Chemical analyses, molecular biology, cell culture, semi-conductor
industry and pharmaceutics. |

Reverse
osmosis systems
Series RO... and RO...plus
The RO... Series, utilizing proven reverse-osmosis technology,
produces pure water, which can be used for general applications
in the laboratory, such as flushing laboratory glassware or
supplying autoclaves and climatic cabinets as well as feeding
ultra-pure water systems. The combination of RO...S and electro-deionization
cell El-Ion® achieves an improved water quality. Cabinet
systems are used in many industrial applications. Feeding
steam boilers, automatic washers and sterilizers in laboratories
and pharmaceutics are typical applications. Pure water from
an RO...plus system is also suitable for many analyses. Furthermore
we offer systems according to FDA or industry standards. The
compact RO systems offer corrosion-resistant well designed
cabinets. Different models are available, depending on water
consumption and quality. |

EDI
system / El-Ion®
The electro-deionization system utilized by SG makes it possible
to produce ultra-pure water from the permeate of a reverse-osmosis
system, which achieves the inorganic purity of water produced
by a mixed-bed deionizer, but without the high germ loading
that these facilities often carry. This advantage is due to
the fact, that anodes and cathodes are positioned within the
working chamber i. e. in direct contact to the exchanger chambers.
We, as licensee, have further developed this method to a marketable
product and introduced it under the name of "El-Ion®".
The most convincing advantage of the electro-deionization is
the continuous operation. The resins are regenerated through
electricity only without any consumption of acids and lye. A
further plus for the environment is the low current consumption
of this method. Different system combinations are available,
according to your demands. We will be happy to advise you.

Deionizers
The development of deionizers has been our specialty for a
long time. Our varied assortment ranges from pressure less
plastic equipment to high-value pressure-resistant stainless-steel
equipment with a basic capacity of 600 to 15,000 liters. We
can offer you our systems tailored to the requirements of
your laboratory. The ingeniously thought-out water supply
in the deionizers extends all the way to the farthest corner
of the container. Thus, maximum capacity is achieved with
minimal use of resins, and the resins are utilized in the
best way. Only resins of the highest quality are used –
optimal from the viewpoints of capacity, exchange rate and
mechanical stability. On the basis of their favorable properties,
our resins can be regenerated indefinitely. Another Plus for
the environment: Our regeneration is perhaps the most environmentally
friendly on the market – offering the highest capacity
with minimal use of chemicals by a process we have developed. |

Soft water for
the laboratory
Softeners
Our corrosion-resistant softeners offer continuous availability
of soft water, low salt and water consumption, regeneration
with soft water, partly ideally suited to be connected before
reverse-osmosis systems. They are available for current-free
operation or as time-controlled version with electrical connection.
All systems are very simple to assemble. |

Filters
and filter cartridges
Our robust filter housings, made of polypropylene, are ideal
for accepting our high-value filter cartridges. For the highest
requirements we recommend an installation of the PP natural
type, since it is free of fillers and dyes. In order to protect
installations and devices against undissolved solids in the
water we offer a back-rinse fine filter. |

Disinfection
with advanced technology
UV-disinfection
Compact series
With top level technology the UV disinfection systems of this
series provide a safe disinfection of the ultra-pure water.
The reactor housings are made of stainless steel. The UV radiators
used emit more than 90 % of their light at 254 nm. At this
wavelength, the disinfecting effect is the greatest. With
a special radiation dosage a reduction in germs of nearly
100 % is achieved.
